I have also found the 8GB DDR4 RAM and 256GB PCIe SSD to be more than enough for all of my needs. The AC WiFi, Bluetooth 4.
The HP Pavilion 17t is a great laptop for basic day-to-day tasks, and it offers solid performance and long battery life for working on the go.
But it underperforms slightly in gaming, and its display is a little bit dim. It also has an inconsistent issue where the screen flickers when it’s on in daylight.

One minor complaint: The screen (and keyboard) feel a little cheaper than the competition, but since it’s more portable, the trade-off is worth it.
